As I’ve discussed before, your email list can be a very useful tool for selling to your potential clients. Here are 5 steps to help you increase your email list so that you can start marketing to your leads via email to get them to buy from you.

  • Re-market to your website visitors to come back to your website and send them to your great content to obtain their email address. Have you ever noticed that you’ve been searching for a new jacket or tennis racket on Amazon, for example, and then you keep on seeing adverts on other websites advertising the same item that you’ve been looking for? – That’s re-marketing at its best. You can do that with the new Facebook re-marketing pixel and it works really well…I’m just doing some myself for my own website.
  • Attract potential clients to leave their name and email address by having some great content on your website and offer them a free copy of the content or a check list relating to the content that you’ve written.
  • When you have the email address, create more valuable and amazing content to be sent out via email. Your content creation shouldn’t be on your website only to attract the lead in the first place but send out up to date and useful information via an email newsletter, for example, will help to keep that email address on your list.
  • Use your Facebook page to to promote an offer that requires a user to leave their email address. Use the new Facebook “Lead Adverts” which will allow you to obtain their email address without the user having to leave their favourite social media platform – Facebook.

  • Add a call to action button on your Facebook business page to allow users to leave their email address. When a user clicks on this button they’ll be sent directly to your web site to perform the required action. On my Facebook page for Tenerife Property Group, I created a “Join the Newsletter” button which leads to a landing page for the user to add their email address and then they are on my list and I can gently sell to them until the time is right and the clients will come to me to start searching for a property.
